aMAZElab is a non-profit cultural laboratory dedicated to the promotion and critical exploration of contemporary culture. Founded in 2000 by Claudia Zanfi together with a group of scholars and artists, its members include museum directors, journalists, students, researchers, and university lecturers.

aMAZElab operates as a network for creative production, critical reflection, and cultural exchange across interdisciplinary fields. Its work engages with social issues and with the less visible dimensions of public policy, nomadism, and contemporary temporary and precarious settlements. aMAZElab is actively involved in research on territories, local communities, micro-geographies, and emerging cultures.

Its main activities and productions include editorial projects, magazines, and publications; contemporary art and photography exhibitions; film festivals and video screenings; conferences, seminars, and symposia; urban tours and interventions; and international meetings.
