In order to discuss urgent themes such as socio-political changes and the spread of creativity in the Mediterranean area, the international Anna Lindh Foundation will stage the Marseilles Forum as the 2013 Culture Capital.

On this special occasion, to mark the opening of the Forum, aMAZElab will present its own projects as part of the international Going Public programme, dedicated to the port cities around the Mediterranean: Marseilles, Tangiers, Palermo, Alexandria, Beirut, Tel Aviv, Istanbul and Athens.
This project – developed and directed by Claudia Zanfi – has involved more than 50 artists including: Maria Thereza Alves, Lara Almarcegui, Ursula Biemann, Yto Barrada, Meschac Gaba, Sigalit Landau, Hassan Khan, Bilal Khbeiz, Nadim Karam, Stealth, Maria Papadimitriou, Zafos Xagoraris, Xurban Collective, Zineb Sedira and many others…
Since 2010, aMAZElab has represented the Anna Lindh Network on the Lombardia Regional Council, for the promotion of socio-cultural activities throughout the Euro-Mediterranean area.
